Transformers Piranacon ~ Hasbro Reissued Combiners

Quote from Snaptrap: "Seacons, combine to form Piranacon". Continuing from my previous posting on other members of Seacons, I now present you with Hasbro reissued Piranacon. I guess most G1 TF fans would be pleased to see an encore of this combiner especially when those vintage ones come so pricey.

Packaging of this toy is just a straight forward clear plastic fold-up box with some trims on the sides to give a V contour. The transparency package means that theres nothing to hide. It's probably eco-friendly but I believed Hasbro can do a better job.

If you have seen the original G1 version, you will realise that some of the parts to the encore version had been produced in different colours. Snaptrap's head used to be black but now it's green. The sword of Pirancon is supposed to be purple and now it's covered in chrome. the difference maybe Hasbro's intention to differential this issue version from the vintage version.

The toy comes with all stickers pasted on the toy however any TF fans rather do the pasting on their own for a neater finishing. Somehow, the leg joints of piranacon seems loose causing the combiner to tilt forward.

Batmobile & Batcycle 'Brave & the Bold' Happy Meal

Once again a quick insert to a recent Mac Donald's toy which I have gotten for my son. My son is a car fanatic and so this Batmobile from the cartoon 'Batman Brave & Bold' can't be more suitable. The toy has a very amazing mechanism such as the Batmobile split itself with the Batcycle within still continuing it's journey. I don't about you but I'm impressed. The only problem is that my son keeps coming to me to put Batmobile together again. Lol....

Gundam Team 08th - MG Gundam Ez8

Introducing my my Sangokuden BB Gongsun Zan Ez8 too!

Time to draw the curtain after the completion to my MG Ez8 which I had done without customization to retain it's originality. An excellent excuse to cover up my incompetence. Hee! Hee!

Continuing from my previous WIP, I had sprayed the gun and bazooka with dull grey, applied the scratch on stickers, more panel lining before a finish coat of matt spray. As simple as it is...

Some cool features of MG Ez8 would be the opening mechanism on the chest as well as the pocket on the legs that conceal beam saber. A good addition, the bazooka can be taken apart and be arranged neatly inside the backpack. The method of which the backpack was mounted won my praises too.

Ganbare! Robocon! Wind Up Toy

My in-laws had just sold off their house to source for another unit of close proximity to where I'm staying. So nice of them having the thought of staying close together and I'm grateful that we are willing to come to our aid in taking care of my three rascals. Their new house ain't ready for the moment and so my house is now the main camp site for all. Lol...

I was helping my wife to clean her room at her old house when we found this adorable wind-up SD Robocon. It was a gift from me during our courtship and it kind of brought back those pleasant sweet moments. As a memoir of the time we had shared at her old house, I took some pics of SD Robocon below her block.

For those find Robocon unfamiliar, he's actually a helpful and positive never-say-die robot on Japan kids' television programme in 1974 with an encore in the 90's.

Transformers Seacons

Whenever I accompany Jason to CSC, it's alway interesting to see what toys he bought and if condition permits, I would take any chances to borrow his toys to play and probably take some pics. This time round, I got my hands on these Hasbro reissued Seacons. Unlike most combiners, Seacons has an additional member, making them six in total. If you have watched the cartoon, you would noticed that Snaptrap is the only unique member who need only to draw any five Seacons abundant at sea to form Piranacon.

I'm sure most TF fans would be thrill to see another combiners been reissued even though there some slight alteration to the colour scheme. Hasbro probably changed the colours slightly to differential these from the original G1, which now cost a few hundred dollars. Since there's so many members to feature, I will do a separate posting on Snaptrap and when all members formed Piranacons.
