Sangokuden BB Gundam Candy Toy

I have recently came across Sangokuden BB Gundam Candy Toy selling at nearby provision shops at price range between S$1.50 -S$1.80. Each of these blind boxes contained a surprise Sangokuden figure in coloured translucent PVC. There are also a packet of candy and a Sangokuden card as well. It's a reasonable price to pay for an official Bandai product. With my strong child nature, it's hard not to get my hands on these toys. Not only I bought one, but 4 boxes. I might buy more a get Lu Bu Tallgeese! Hee! Hee!

You may have wondered why am I aka Katsuden and how this name was derived. Well, let me now do a proper introduction of Katsuden. Hee! Hee! If you break the name apart to 'Katsu' and 'Den', you will see that 'Katsu' meant cutlet in Japanese and 'Den' represent Dennis in short. This nickname was given by my dearest wife who noticed that I usually order dishes related to Katsu whenever we patronised Japanese food outlets and since name is Dennis, she fused the words together to form 'Katsuden'. Kind of like Kinnikuman hah! Itadakimasu!

G.F.F #0032 GM Sniper Custom

This is one very hard Gundam Fix Figuration to grab onto. I didn't but it when it was newly release and when I wanted, I couldn't find one on retail stores. First, I thought I was lucky to order from 'Yes Asia' but they subsequently refund the money back to me cos they ran out of stock. Next I won the item on '99 Auction' but seller did not respond to me. It was only after I post it as 'Want List' on 'SG Collect' when someone was finally willing to get go his loose piece and he gave me a good price too!

GM Sniper Custom with interchangeable parts to form RX-78-2 Gundam (Real Type Color), as designed by the legendary Gundam designer, Katoki Hajime. This set comes with more accessories, armor parts, and weapons GM Sniper Custom comes armed with two beam sabers, bean spray gun, folding hand beam gun, 2-barrel beamgun, R-4 type beam rifle, and a shield. The armaments included for RX-78-2 Gundam are a 60mm vulcan gun, beam saber (beam javelin), beam rifle, hyper bazooka, Gundam hammer, hyper hammer, and three types of shields, with one of them halved by an enemy's beam saber! As always, two custom display bases are included with the names of each Mobile Suit printed their own individual bases.

Macross Chronicle 39

Much delay to posting of Macross Chronicle or should I say my posting rate had slowed down cos I have been feeling tired lately and had to catch up on my sleep plus keep fit, just like Chubbybot (editor, photographer, gunpla maker, design and nendo fixated writer of 'The Toy Room'). Hee! Hee!

In compensation, I will give me more pics of Macross Chronicle 39. This issue has got my favourite VF-1J GBP and other mechs of good and bad. There's a few good drawings which I especially like the one on Macross Quarter and would insert the drawing to my Chogokin Macross Quarter Toy posting.

Toy review section has finally returned with 1/60 YF-21 by Yamato. Last but not least, fans of Macross kits would be thrilled with the released of VF-1A valkyrie Minmay 2009 Special ( News on the last pic).....why 2009 Special and not 2010....

G.F.F #0032 RX-78-2 Gundam (Real Type Color)

My intention of getting this boxset is very much for the GM Sniper Custom. Perhaps, Bandai felt that the GM Sniper Custom alone as G.F.F may not gain much attention so they also throw in parts to form a prototype of RX-78-2 Gundam (Real Type Color). This concept is very much similar to G.F.F 0026. Let's take a look at pics on Gundam before I change the parts back to GM Sniper Custom. To be realistic, I think this colour variant provides better cover for Gundam in space.

Transformers Animated Bumble Bee Happy Meal Toy

Just came back from 'Downtown East' Chalet and had brought my family to Mac Donald's for breakfast yesterday. My children each gotten themselves a Happy Meal and my son loved his Animated Bumble Bee Happy Meal so much that he's always looking for his 'car' 'car' (what a two-year-old would say) and bring it along with him whenever he goes. He would sometime asked me to transform it for him and started calling robot, 'Beebot' 'Beebot' (my two-year-old can't pronounced properly). Hee! Hee!
