Upon seeing yellowing on the plastic of my loose Cyclone bike rider kind of upset me but this in turn created that motivational factor for me to customize it to something that was never in production by Gakken. Taking MegaHouse Yellow 1/15 Cyclone bike as a reference, I had unscrewed and hand painted the old Gakken figure. Upon completion, I used matt spray as a top-coat to remove the paint gross. I have also restored the peel off stickers by trimming of the worn off edges and used double sided tape to paste them back. A very interesting experiment that fortunately all turn out right. Maybe I could do a customization of Houquet et Rose in future. That would be a tough one. Ha! Ha!

Hey congrats for your success in your customization. It look good on photo! Well done bro!
Thx bro! There was some dust on the toy when I spray the matt coat so you could like at close up. Nevertheless, I like it a lot and find it nice on display.
Not sure I could do that to my figures even after yellowing.
With that said, it did turn out quite well.
Seeing the plastic turned yellow is like almost ruin so I guess it's no holds bar to customization. Hee! Hee!
Its very sad when see the plastic turns into yellow due to the time but with little initiative, we can turn it into new :)
Oh yes, in fact I have since initiated a few projects to restore the beauty to some of my yellowing toys. Gundam especially since they are mostly white.
look a bit like daft punk costume. superb dude. mix of vintage and modern. nice
I like this different taste that stands out in my display shelf.

Great restoration work man! You definitely gave your toy a second lease of life! Should have kept those old transformer toys when I had when i was young...
