1/60 VF-1A Cannon Fodder Version 1.0

Have you ever wonder why SDF-1 can have so much raw material and so many pilots to make up the always exploding brown VF-1A valkyrie squads. Why Hikaru gets to pilot VF1J while he is still a rookie? Maybe it is the strong cable he had with Roy Focker. Huh.........

Having a lot of these 1/60 VF-1A would be nice to make up a decent squadron. What a waste that they always got shot down. These are true heroes in the animation. Brown VF-1A, you earn my salute!

Lodoss War Mini Discs

These Mini Discs used to really expensive on the shelves of HMV. Luckily, I found them by chance while searching 'Lodoss War' on Ebay and brought them from a local seller. The price is quite a steal for these OST.
ps: Sorry for the slow postings the past few days. I'm tight up by work and I spent the remain time sleeping. Hee! Hee!

HCM Gundam Full Armour

A Bandai H.C.M, high complete model of the mobile suit Gundam Full Armour 1:1/44 scale plastic and metal collectible super robot. Item was made in Japan. Figure stands about 5" (scale 1:144).

The one on display is a loose piece that I got from China Square flea market for S$5/-. What a steal! This is a prototype Gundam that did not appear in the animation I think. It's given the extra armor and firepower. It's the very first step to future Gundam development like FA Gundam NT1 Alex.

Takatoku Macross 1/144 VF-1J

If you still remember my previous posting on KO 1/144 valkyrie toy, here’s the original version, which was made in Japan in the 1983. I got this 1/144 Scale VF-1J Battroid Valkyrie Hikaru from Ebay and item comes with box in decent condition, with only slight shelf wear. The toy stands approximately 4”. Stickers unapplied too.

Macross Chronicle 31

Macross Chronicle 31 showcase quite a number valkyries you don't usually play attention to, like VF-11 Thunderbolt (Macross Plus), VF-171 (Macross Frontier) and VF-4 Lighting III (Macross Flashback 2012). There is also review on vintage Bandai 1/55 gift-sets like VT-1 Super Ostrich, VF-1S Strike Valkyrie and VF-1S Super Valkyrie.

Shopping Spree Katsuden's Hauls

I have bought lots of stuffs to make myself and my family members happy. I have always wanted to buy 1/24 Patlabor Ingram 1, but it's tough decision to fork out so much money. at one go . Finally made up my mind that day after I managed to negotiate for a reasonable price at 'Toy N Toys'.

Gundam Fix Akatsuki is a gift from Leon - Chun Long. My buddy since secondary school days, saw me staring hard at the toy for a long time and contemplating whether to buy during the last time we met at OG. So he bought it secretly and gave it to me. Very touch!

Shopping with Leon - Chun Long

Leon - Chun Long told me the primary school kids nowadays are into this arcade game known as 'Animal Kaiser'. This is an animal versus game whereby the animal you use will depend on which animal card you have.

Likewise, how powerful your animal is will depend on the colour of the card as well (cards with chrome are the more powerful ones). Each time I looked at an animal executing its special powerful, I could not help laughing it loud.

It's really hilarious looking at how ridiculous a gorilla executing wrestling atomic bomb on a shark and sending the shark to atomic explosion. The eagle in the game could even summon a rockmelon as big as a continent and crushed its enemy like a meteor.

Just like the news confirmed by Juliana, Transformers ROTF has finally hit the shore of Singapore. I think S$34.90 for an original code 1 DVD of blockbuster like this is a reasonable price.

Met up with Leon - Chun Long yesterday @ Plaza Singapura for toy shopping and we had also pampered ourselves to sumptuous lunch + dessert. Our chit-chat on our life & toys continue from the last time we bumped into each other at Bugis OG. The shopping wasn't enough and so we proceeded to CSC more toys after which.

Stay tune to my next posting for the stuffs I bought....

CSC After Photo Shoot

These toys were once called Machine Robots before they became 'GoBots'

After the outdoor photo shoot @ Raffle's City, other bloggers and I marched to China Square Central since it's just within walking distance. Another reason for going to CSC was also to give my support to Jason's and Alan's sale booth.

There were pleasant surprises as well like bumping into friends like Hong Chuan, Chun Long and Mr K. The economic downturn didn't seem to affect toy collectors as CSC was crowded that day. Jason's and Alan's sales were astonishing and they were smiling from a end to another.

Sunday flea market is held at Level 1 and 2, from 11am to 6pm.

ps: Thx Alan for the freebies!
