Mini Bumblebee

--> -->
This Bumblebee is a toy from World Smallest Transformers Series 1. Made by Takara, fully transformable and comes with instruction booklet. Box was carefully opened only to reveal identity of toy as they are all randomly packed. I would like to emphasize that this is not my toy! It belongs to my wife and she got it as a gift from Jason after her persistent pleads. Maybe I should do the same next time. Ha! Ha!

PS ~ Bubblebee is my wife’s favourite TF character

Macross Sticker Album From 80's

Perhaps not to infringe intellectual property rights, the album was named ' Starship of the Universe'. Doesn't it sounds like He Man ' Master of the Universe'.

There are elaboration on the mechs, however they are quite poorly translated in English

Defender & Spartan

GBP VF-1J & SDF-1

Pod & Regult

Group photos that were never released before...

Here are the prizes to be won! Sorry, deadline ends 27/01/1987!

Collecting stickers were common among primary school kids in the 80’s and so little Jason and I were no exception. Usually, those who completed the album before the deadline gets a chance for lucky draw to win attractive prizes such as toys ‘What a clever tactic to boost sale’.

I remember having sticker books on dinosaur, world cup, ghost buster & etc but never have I once complete any album. Jason’s ‘KO’ Macross sticker album comes complete and he had given this album to me cos he thinks a Macross fan like me would treasure it.

MSIA Gunperry with RGM-79

I have recently bought another set of MSIA Gunperry with RGM-79, so I think I should take some pics of it with all my MSIA from Gundam 08th team. E.F.S.F Gunperry is a light assault carrier that enable accommodation for only two mobile suits. It's aero ability is contributed by the fans which give the carrier hovering effect. Gunperry has minimum attack ability as it is only armed with a few missiles. A wonderful playset that comes with RGM-79 (G) MS.

Gundam Fiesta 2009

Singapore is never a boring place! We have STGCC 2009 in August and right after it we have Gundam Fiesta 2009 in September! There will Gunpla exhibition, modelling demostration, activities and contests. Click here for the official website. To all the local Gundam fans 'Embrace yourselves and band together regardless which faction (E.F.S.F or Zeon) you support'.

Pixar Cars Movie: Luigi & Guido Die Cast Toy

Ever since my wife and I bought Pixar Cars dvd for our kids, they have been asking to watch the movie over and over again. As much as I can remember, this same movie had been played at home at least twenty times. During my last visit to Metro department store, my wife was admiring Luigi and Guido so I bought her this thinking that I could escape buying her another present for birthday. Hee! Hee! It’s just my wishful thinking.

1/60 Macross Frontier Parts

Two Fridays ago, I was able to meet up a toy blog friend namely Joseph Tokyo Hunter, who has been my trusted source when acquiring rare and hard-to-find toys from Japan. Joseph happened to drop by Singapore for holidays and we had a short chat @ the airport. During our conversation, I find out that Joseph previously left his howntown in Malaysia, Kuching for Japan to work for a renown online toy store and really drawn a lot of my envious.

I have recently preordered 1/60 Macross Frontier 1) Gallia4 fold set & 2) Ghost & weapon set from Joseph and it is really nice of him to bring my stuffs over and by doing so helped me save on shipping. These were what Joseph said when he took out the boxes from his haversack “All the way from Japan and free shipping”. Humorous isn’t it?

Joseph told me that he first started collecting Mac Farlene’s toys but soon realized that he had greater passion for Japanese toy. So, shortly after he graduated from University, he took up the job that is closely related to his passionate hobby. What can a man asked for!

Working in a fast pace society like Japan, Joseph is always busy at work and constantly visiting various toy conventions. He also mentioned that he hasn’t have much time to touch his toy, which most are still in their boxes.

Anyway, Joseph took a transit flight back to Singapore again last Saturday, so I suggested visiting STGCC 2009 in this short period of a few hours. Even though the convention can never be compared to those at Japan, I tried my best to bring him around and had also introduced him to Desmond Desmond’s Collection and Wayne. We had an enjoyable chat, exchanging ideas and tips on collecting toys.

STGCC Singapore Toy Games & Comic Convention 2009

Gosh!!! I had deleted my previous posts on STGCC 2009 by mistake so here I am doing a recollection of the event after 6 years. OMG! My bad! Fortunately I managed to recover some the photos holding those precious memories of this awesome field report and gathering of toy bloggers, had fun and shared tips of our interests. Looking back STGCC where Hot Toys had not dominated the event and things were less commercialized. A time where we see more cartoonists and creative artists showcasing their talents, a time when lotz of things were still @ an infant or exploring stages. If I remember correctly, the display of Transformers Optimus Prime toys were the collection of a local toy collector. A joyous event which I returned to the venue on many occasions to meet colleagues and old friends, glad their beautiful smiles were preserved and to think that many of them had settled down with marriages and kiddos of their own. Do I sound like an old man?! Lol
