1/48 Stealth VF1J

This is 1/48 Stealth VF1J that I also do not have. I used to have the stealth VF1J that comes with fast pack. Maybe it was impulse or there wasn't enough storage space I had at home, I sold mine to Jason. Don't worry! I am sure Jason would take good care of it. BTW, I just had a phone conversation with Jason and he had asked me for my blog address. Isn't this exciting!

Before I forget, Leon likes to collect the Macross toys that are unique and different from what was featured in the animation.

Macross celebrating 25th Anniversary

Maybe because I am a Macross fan, the first thing I aim inside the study room are toys related to Macross. This is a 1/48 VF1S 25th anniversary limited edition. The toy is black with chrome lining. Leon had just brought this babe a few days ago at Falcon Hanger sale. I think he got this babe for S$170/-. A relatively good price but better don't let his wife knows about it. Hee! Hee!

I didn't have this piece cos I ran out of cold hard cash lately. Sad..... Well! Can always admire Leon's collection.

No gender discrimination!

Look here! This is not just a all boys no girl blog. Featuring these cutie stuffs that I found inside Leon's house. We have Mr Cookie Monster from Sesame's Street and sweet Miss Peko + partner. See! I got good knowledge of girls' collectibles as well hah!

Leon's Study Room

After appreciating the interior decoration, I was struck inside this study room. Took a few pics of the toy display shelves. Leon has yet to relocate his toys from his parent's house to the new house. So these are just a small small portion of his collection. If I can remember correctly, Leon has a lot of Starwars toys.

Thirsty surprise!

Thank you my friend for the great hospitality! Leon had treated me to a nice cold beverage as soon as I enter his house. I am not referring to the Vodkas obviously cos I am underage! Ha! Ha! Just Joking! Anyway I took this pic cos these Vodkas are so nice to look at. So nice that you don't bear to drink them indeed!

Leon is a one number Bumblebee fan of Transformers movie 2007. He has collected all the fridge magnets of the different Bumblebee faces. He told me he got these magnets for S$10/- each and they are now worth at least S$18/-. What a price height in such a short period!

Blackout - Transformers Movie

As a toy collector, how can I missed out this super cool looking helicopter in the living room. I am not guru of Transformers, so I have to look up the internet to get to know this fellow. Blackout is the name and this is the MH-53M Pave Low IV helicopter version. I remember this is the Decepticon that attack the U.S military camp during the start of the movie 2007.

I did ask Leon to transform it as I don't wish to trouble him. Also check out the solar rotating stand. Not to disappoint you guys, I got the transformable process from youtube!

Leon's invitational

28/04/2008 is a special day as a good friend of mine invited me at his new house. I have known Leon ever since secondary school days. This dude is really a sincere and helpful guy. My friend is going to get marry coming September on his birthday. Congrats! Cheers!

Initially, I wanted to post Leon's photograph on this posting. However, my dear friend was too shy for guest appearance. So I took a picture of these lovely Precious Moments figurines in the living room instead. Actually, I have Leon's photo taken during his schooling years. I won't sabotage you my friend! Ha! Ha!

HCM ZZ Gundam

A vintage HCM double Zeta Gundam. This is a massive Gundam with strong firepower made to replace Zeta Gundam. The toy was made in Japan and it also came with some metal parts. Like Z Gundam, it is also not very posable. But it sure look good on display.

HCM Z Gundam

The Gundam was designed and piloted by Kamil. This is made by the scarp metal from Gundam Mark 2. The Gundam is able to transform into a jet and hence be able to descend into earth from space. About the this toy, it's not very posable but the joints are very tight.

HCM Gundam MK2

High Complete Model is a toy that was already assembled. The size is about the scale of 1/144 Gundam model kit. Real vintage that there was made in Japan. The figure does not come with bazooka cos the accessory was taken from another Mobile Suit in Action MSIA figure. Stop! Or I will blow you away!

Gundam Evolve on Gundam...

Boxing day!

Having so many boxes can be quite a pain. Every time I brought new toy, I would have to rearrange the boxes in my storage room. It's really tedious perspiring work! It is also a contributing factor that deters me from starting my blog sooner cos I would have to climb high and low in search for the right boxes. There were also times that I didn't even know where I had placed the boxes. Ok! Enough of complaints!

Vintage Deluxe Z Gundam

Having this loose vintage deluxe Z Gundam in my collection. The Zeta Gundam is more difficult to find compared to Gundam MK2. If I am not wrong, there is also a deluxe version of ZZ Gundam. Too many commitments at this point of time and too many new toys to buy as well. Will divert my attention back to deluxe version hopefully in the near future.....

The smaller Z gundam that stood beside is the HCM version.

Vintage Gundam MK2

A nicely posed Deluxe Gundam MK2 that manages to hid the missing skirt (a piece of armor frame missing on the left waist). Stands around 10 inches. The box is in poor condition and the plastic screen had turned really yellow. I bought this dude many years back when I just started collecting toys and I paid an awful price of S$198.90 for it. A few months a ago, I saw someone selling this piece on Yahoo! auction for S$75/- and it is of a better condition. Too bad I hesitated and the auction closed without relisting.

DX Sazabi

Mr Char Aznable aka Red Comet would most of the time pilot a red mobile suit. His last mobile suit the Sazabi is no different. Even though Char was least skillful than Amuro Ray, he was more witty and also having hidden agenda in his every moves. Too bad, there is no mega size Hyaku Shinki.

Meet Char & his last MS...

Tribute to Amuro Ray!

The last Gundam piloted by the strongest new-type Amuro Ray. The most unique feature of this Gundam is I think the fin-funnels on the shoulder. Even the shield has Amuro Ray's signature logo. It is so sad to see Amuro Ray sacrificing himself in 'Char Counter Attack'. I should say that Amuro Ray is by far the most skillful Gundam pilot.

Nu Gundam at it's best...

Darling vs Darling

It is my pleasure to invite my lovely daughter to present you with my Gundam Wing Zero custom. Actually, I had wanted to show you the size of the box and my dearest wife suggested to let our daughter hold the box to illustrate the size of this toy.

This is a mega scale Gundam and isn't it nice to put Wing Gundam and Wing Zero Gundam side by side.

Endless Waltz....

Another deck of Gundam

Let's move on to another deck of the display showcase. This deck is situated at the bottom most part of the Gundam section. They are mainly Gundam toys on High Complete Model HCM & Mega scale Deluxe version. The showcase is as pack as sardines and these collectibles hardly have any personal space. Sorry they are not for adoption at this point of time!

Tiny Macross gasaphon

Ever since I know about Ebay, it has been my favourite waste of time. We practically get everything and anything you want on Ebay! Now I sound a spokesperson from Ebay!

I must say Ebaying has been very addictive and most of the time I had succumbed to temptation and subsequently spending a lot of my saving. Sob! After exploring the Ebay function to sell, I also managed to sell my toys and preloved items internationally. Wow! Pretty impressive hah!

I have recently wanted to alter the display arrangement of my Macross toys. So I sold away this set of seven Macross gasaphon figures to someone from Spain. Personally, I prefer bigger toys over gasaphon which stands ONLY about 7cm cos I find bigger toys more playable and easier to the hands.

Loose Macross toys

Used to have this figures that did not come with other accessories. Each figure stands about 13cm. I am not sure if the two VF1J are authentic products. Both VF1Js are transformable. I have kept over these VF1Js since I was a kid. Both VF1Js are in poor condition with yellowing. The third Macross figure is a Destroid Spartan model kit. I sold them on ebay early this month. Using the money to buy more toys baby!

Gundam model kit

I remember when I was still in primary school, my parent would always buy a simple Gundam plastic kit that comes with chocolate or candy whenever we went shopping at places like Liang Court basement supermarket or Plaza Singapura supermarket. As I grow older, I started assembling Gundam model kit. I don't I have much talent in model kit assembly. I had only used can spray and Gundam marker to touch up my kits. I had given up buying model kit after deciding on toy collecting instead. Hence I had sold away these kits at a low price.
